The problem with the word, “Hypothesis” and the importance of HiPPOs with Nima Yassini

"...I think they made a mistake saying, don’t listen to the hippo, use data. They’re absolutely wrong. The hippo has the money, who can fund the program...listen to the hippo, you need the hippo on your side."

“...hypothesis is the worst thing that happened to this category because people are so focused on finding a hypothesis, i.e. an idea that they want to test, that they’re not really focusing on the problem. And that problem doesn’t ladder up to what the business is trying to solve for..."

Introducing Project Launchpad

Project Launchpad is a program started by Experiment Nation to promote the consulting services of certified Conversion Rate Optimizers (CROs). In exchange for regular promotion, program participants agree to offer a free introductory consultation session to prospective clients and mentees. After which the consultant and prospective client can agree to whatever terms they wish.

To join the program as a consultant, one must:

  1. Be a member of Experiment Nation’s Directory

  2. Have passed our Certification Exam within the last 2 years
