Don't test everything with Oliver Palmer
Here’s a sneak peek:
“The mistake that I see people making over and over again, is to think that experimentation is a way that they can prove how clever they are. And I know this mistake, because I've been there, I've done it. I used to think I've got this great idea, and it's gonna have a huge impact on conversion, and I can prove it, and it's gonna be wonderful. And of course, it's got no basis in reality. It's just a thing that I thought of. And when you do that enough, you realize that your own head is a very bad filter, and it's a bad place to come up with experimentation ideas.“
Poll: Should we hold a CRO Competition?
We’re considering holding a CRO Competition where we share a case study with participants and they get to flex their analysis skills. Would you participate?
Watch our conference!
Every year, we hold an on-demand virtual conference focused on topics of interest to CROs and Experimenters, and this year we are holding our event from September 18 to 22! This year we have 36 sessions from expert experimenters from 16 countries - of which over a third identify as female. It’s our most diverse event ever!
Here’s a sneak peek of Amanda Heady’s session, “The What, Why, and How of CRO Audits”
"…for example if users are starting on the home page and then going to a product page and then [are] looking at details and then from there adding it to their cart and checking out you want to know that those are your key pages… Important rirst step here [is] to identify that funnel and understand what you want to look at going going down…”

We ask our AI-Powered CRO Chatbot about building an Experimentation Culture
I recently asked Enzo, Experiment Nation's AI-Powered CRO Chatbot, "What is something that people forget when building an experimentation culture?" And this is what it said based on these episodes:
”It often starts with a C-level initiative where someone in a leadership position champions the idea of experimentation. This is a crucial step that many people forget. Without the support of the leadership, it's hard to promote a culture of experimentation across the entire organization.
A culture of experimentation needs to be across the entire organization, not just within a single team or department. This is another aspect that people often overlook. They might start experimenting within their own team but forget to involve other teams and departments.”

Why we created Enzo
Every week, Experiment Nation shares its latest Interviews with and Conference sessions by the best Conversion Rate Optimizers and Experimenters from around the world on its YouTube channel. It’s a lot of content and it's hard to keep up - we get it. That’s why we’ve created a Chatbot that we're calling Enzo that's trained on all the content we’ve created over the years. It’s (kinda) like asking our past guests a question all at once!
Have you ever wondered:
Can you test on low traffic?
Is Bayesian better than Frequentist?
How do you optimize your Personalization campaign?
